What Our Clients Say
Here's a few brief testimonials from our clients...
Maybe they'll help change how you think about your own mental health.
“I feel more in control of my life. I feel like I am much more emotionally mature and in a better position to deal with things as and when they happen. I feel like myself again.”
“My therapy ended in December 2019. The first session I had I remember thinking that I was never going to do some of the goals Deborah had set out with me. I couldn’t be left alone in the house by myself with my baby because of my debilitating anxiety nevermind go for a walk alone or visit family. Despite all my fears I conquered each and every one and each time I did, my anxiety reduced and I was no longer afraid of the unknown. Deborah gave me the tools to continue working on myself even after my therapy ended so that if something unexpected arose I would be able to think and deal with it in a more logical and healthy way. It has allowed me to build the relationship that I didn’t have with my baby at the beginning.

“Deborah really helped me overcome workplace stress and how to deal with awkward people they may face in life. When I first started I was quite passive but now I know when and how to be assertive.
Thank you!”

“Deborah is a fantastic therapist and has proven to be a very effective practitioner to many.
She is the best to have around when life has tossed curved balls in your direction and I can speak from experience.”
“After struggling with my emotions & mental well-being for as long as I can remember, listening to the voices, constantly doubting and judging myself. I decided to it was time to take charge of the rest of my life and put me first. I was feeling like that person who puts on a face and then when I got home it was so different. I was my own worst enemy and gave myself no credit at all, I felt like a bad mum and nothing I did was good enough.
I asked for help through my GP who referred me for CBT and I have to admit I was apprehensive but was at my wits end and felt anything outside of how I felt was a positive step so I took it. I have no regrets and wish I had taken it sooner.
Deborah helped me feel totally at ease, helped me look at life’s stressful situations and how my thoughts made me feel and helped me rationalise them and look at them so differently. Now my daily outlook is so much more positive. It has taught me so much and I would highly recommend Deborah. ”
“I went to Deborah for help with some problems with my attitude towards food and binge eating. She was warm, non judgemental and made you feel comfortable immediately. I felt that I was in safe hands with Deborah and her competence and professionalism were obvious from the outset.
Due to personal reasons I was unable to complete the suggested amount of sessions with Deborah but she was extremely understanding about this and I still felt I finished with some really useful strategies to help with my binge eating.
I would highly recommend Deborah as a therapist.”
